Predator,
Man you own a Linea only na or Fiat has made a special Linea exclusively for you.

You say:
Average- Only you get in single digits FE. Me, cartoos and Nimesh all get around 12-13 in city.
In delhi traffic am getting a FE of 14+ without AC, need proof i will click a pic and show. Aapne toh kabhi apni gaadi ki pic hi nahi dikhayi humein.
Seems you have a diff driving style.

poor quality fittings- Agree.

Suspension - This is the biggest joke man. Even a hardcore fiat hater says the ride and handling of the car is the best in class- better than Fiesta/Verna/City. Its soft setting suspension - autocar review.
The car easily gobbles up all potholes.
I cant believe you own a Linea, if you do, file a case in consumer court and say you got a defective car as only your Linea is facing suhch troubles.

And on what basis do you expect average to go up in a TJET LINEA?

I was reading the Indigo Manza review on TBHP yesterday and astonished that TATA have copied Linea full to full. Except the Driver's Arm rest & rear AC vent, it has got all the features of Linea including the retractable keys. Also it is built on the same Linea Platform and even the engine compartment is made to look same. What a shame TATA, create something of your own and dont fool the public?
They are pricing it much cheaper than Linea as given below.
Price of first variant with ABS AND Airbags (Delhi ex-showroom):
Dzire : 674,124
Manza : 675,000
Fiesta : 799,000
Linea : 835,000

Image of MANZA engine, so much similar to Linea in looks and of course, with Linea MJD engine, no doubt.

Well Linea has bad suspension is simply not acceptable man, It has one of the best ride and handling in segment.

@Jaisha, agreed that Tata has tried to copy Linea but to me its good thing, atleast they have set a new and good target and look wise its not similar by anyway and its based on Extended vista platform and not on Linea's by anyway.

And engine was contracted as Tata gave a second chance in India otherwise imagine Fiat setting up their own sales and service points, how much time would it take and also not only time but nobody would have liked to become Fiat's dealer and give them a chance as Fiat at once left all dealers mid-way. So if Fiat is in India, thanks to TATA and thanks to Fiat due to which Tata's are now good to drive. It was and is win-win situation for both.

Are you sure? Because GPS & EcoDrive are not yet available in Indian Linea's - is what is the general understanding.

@Vahanpujari: GPS-Mapmyindia is a GPS Navigator from Mapmyindia.com. See here http://navigator.mapmyindia.com/

Its not about the the Blue&Me with Ecodrive and MapNav, probably the jaisha8 dealer got that stuff. I would invest in a smartphone with agps rather than going for dedicated GPS Navigators at those prices.

Google for mgmaps and navizon :)

So the car is in your name or your brother's? Damn its so confusing. Dont know whether you own a car or kept it for a few days but all your points barring one (plastic quality) are incorrect which shouldnt happen when you are a car owner and so many points are incorrect.

Even when my Linea was brand new with less than 500 kms on ODO it never returned less than 11kmpl with full AC. Speak of now, my MID is showing 15.2 kmpl - want a pic will SHOW IT. I was asking for any pic of MID showing single digit FE's as you claimed but its not possible i guess.

Suspension hard- only your car had it. Maybe tyre pressures were incorrect. If no, then suspension must be faulty.
Dont post pics of owner's manual and insurance etc, am not so desperate to know that you own a Linea or not. If you say so, i believe it though once every 2-3 months you make it hard to believe for me with such posts.

Hi all, I could not access the autocar forum for the past 4-5 days, probably due to my internet prb.

I had posted a couple of pics of my linea gearbox leakage few days back  ( ref page 116). Thought I shud update u all on this.

Afte I posted the problem, I took the car next day to my office and  positioned it over the inspection pit & went underneath it. I cud not find any leak from anywhere, but that portion was still wet wid synthetic oil. So I decided to wipe the whole area clean and watch for few more days.
For the next few days, I cud not see any leak from the gearbox seal area ( I was driving only about 7-8 km a day in those days). So I thought, probably I hurried a bit in posting these pics. But the next day , when i drove for about 60 Kms in b2b traffic where i had to constantly change gears and use clutch, i found the same minor laek again!!

Rushed to the service stn the next day ( concorde Motors, dairy circle Blore). The people at the service centre was courteous and immly asigned a technician for the job ( though there weren't many linea xperts there). The guy was quick to find out the problem. The culprit was a unit called 'Cluth MC relay' unit. I was happy 2 know that there wasn't any leak from the engine or gearbox per say!!!. Eventhough the leak was minor, he showed that it had resulted in considerable amount of brake fluid leakage over a period of 3 weeks!!. Within 2 hrs , he repaired the car by fully replacing the part. There has been no prob since then.

The point i wud like 2 mention here is that there seems to be no probems of spares parts for linea in contrary to wat  people have been projecting. The technician said that they hav stocked even the oddest of the spares enough ( which are seldom required).
Second thing is that, I cud not find any step-motherly treatment to fiat in Tata showroom ( many people have said this too). They were equally cooperative.

Apart from the problem I faced in my car, the car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Now that I hav got used to the long clutch, I am really enjoying driving this beauty. Shall post  few more pics soon.

Can u ppl ssuggest me about the care care products to use? such as Car shampoo, surface polish, plastic polish etc? I am not game for teflon coating.

Here is the pic of the part changed
