Poll Results: Economic recession a thing of the past? | |
With the Indian automobile market seeing manufacturers steadily make available new variants and car models to the public, we had asked you if you thought the economic recession was a thing of the past. Almost half of the ballots (50%) feel the recession is in fact over. 25% of the vote count claim that the auto market can and will do much better once the recession passes, while 25% think that the market still has a bumpy road up ahead, with hints of the recession not allowing the auto segment to breathe freely.
Yes, companies are playing it safe to an extent, but on witnessing the quantity and quality of vehicles being produced by numerous manufacturers over the course of the recession period (like the new Merc E350, Porsche Panamera and the BMW Z4), we’re under the impression that the recession hasn’t directly affected the Indian auto segment. Actually, we hope that companies are holding back, because once the ‘recession’ ends, we can expect to see even more tasty rides coming in.
