I am looking for comfort, space, driver enjoyment, decent fuel efficiency and good looks — even imported cars are an option. I’ve shortlisted the Mitsubishi Evo VI, BMW 325i and the Nissan X-Trail. I also quite like the Subaru Forester 2.5. What do you suggest? AAA: As your Rs 30 lakh budget is a bit in no-man’s land, if you can stretch your money to around Rs 36 lakh you can reach out for cars that are homologation-free. A BMW 330i is possible and the new one is good. If you cannot spend that much, the Nissan X-Trail is worth looking at as the Subaru Forester 2.5-litre model is not coming to India. And, if you can wait till later in the year, Mitsubishi’s Montero (see pic) can be yours for around Rs 28 lakh.   | ||||||||||||||||
