The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia have been restored with their larger 10-inch ‘Skoda Play’ touchscreen that the company had swapped for a smaller 8-inch unit in May 2022 due to the then ongoing semiconductor shortage. It, however, has made its way back only on the top-spec Style variants of both models – previously it was also offered on the mid-spec Ambition variants.

The larger 10-inch screen means that wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a sub-woofer are also back on the Style variants of the Kushaq and Slavia, as have the Skoda Play apps. The larger screen uses the latest software and UI, but being a fully touch unit, it does miss out on the convenience of a rotary dial to adjust the volume and a few touch-based shortcut buttons that were available on the bezel of the 8.0-inch unit.

Do note that the 10-inch screen will also be available on the Kushaq Monte Carlo and Slavia Matte Edition variants, while the mid-spec Ambition variants will continue with the 8.0-inch screen on both the Kushaq and Slavia. Additionally, Skoda has also removed the dongle connectivity feature from the Ambition variants of both models.

Recently, Skoda also updated the Kushaq and Slavia Style, Monte Carlo and Matte Edition variants with powered front seats and ambient footwell illumination.

In another silent update, the Kushaq is now available with a single-tone, silver 17-inch alloy wheel design on the top-spec Style trim, replacing the dual-tone, twin five-spoke gun metal alloys. The new wheels, in fact, look similar to the ones offered with the Volkswagen Tiguan, although the latter is a size larger.

    Skoda Slavia, Kushaq prices

Post these updates, prices for the Slavia range between Rs 10.89 lakh-16.72 lakh and Rs 15.04 lakh-19.12 lakh for the 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI variants, respectively. Meanwhile, prices for the Kushaq range between Rs 10.89 lakh-18.41 lakh and Rs 15.17 lakh-20 lakh for the 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI variants, respectively.
