Mini Cooper Oxford Edition launched at Rs 44.90 lakh

    Only 25 units will be available for booking exclusively via Amazon India; will only be offered in the three-door S variant.

    Mini has brought out a new special edition for its Cooper hatchback called the Oxford Edition, and priced it at Rs 44.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Limited to just 25 units, the limited-run model will be offered in two exterior colours - Solaris orange with jet black accents (roof and mirror caps) and Midnight Black with Solaris orange accents (roof and mirror caps). Bookings for the Mini Cooper Oxford Edition can only be done on Amazon India’s website.

    The company will provide a high degree customisation with various styling packs and the Mini Yours programme, which is exclusive to the Oxford Edition. The exterior styling packs on offer are as follows:

    The Piano Black Exterior pack includes gloss black rings around the headlights, radiator grille, tail light surrounds, fuel filler cap and the door handles.

    The Mini John Cooper Works Spoiler and Aerodynamic pack includes Mini John Cooper Works rear spoiler and styling, 17-inch black alloy wheels and a chrome plated double exhaust pipe.

    The Mini Yours customised parts include side scuttles, LED door sill finishers and special LED door projectors (that display ‘1/25’ to denote the limited edition).  

    The Oxford Edition will receive leather sports seat offered in two colours - Solaris orange and Leather Chester Malt, a head-up display and a panoramic sunroof. There are a few interior packs on offer too:

    The Mini Excitement pack that comes with LED interior and ambient lighting in 12 selectable colours, the interior sports a piano black Union Jack design on the central console as well as the door cards and lastly a rear-lit decorative strip for the instrument panel on the passenger side will be included.

    The Mini Wired pack include an 8.8-inch touchscreen with a touchpad controller, a navigation system, Mini connected XL, telephony and wireless charging.

    Over and above these packs there are a few more infotainment options available such as Apple CarPlay and a 360-Watt, 12-speaker Harmon Kardon speaker system.

    The Mini Cooper Oxford Edition is only available with the three-door S model, which means it is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 192hp and 280Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and comes with multiple driving modes (Standard. Sport, Green).
