Lexus has launched a limited edition of the brand's sports coupe, the LC500h. The LC500h 2024 Limited Edition is priced at Rs 2.50 crore and gets special interior and exterior colours, along with aerodynamic elements. The car remains mechanically unchanged from the regular model and the company has not specified how many units this edition will be limited to.

    • 21-inch alloy wheels with a matte finish
    • Special exterior paint coat
    • Powered by a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6

The limited-edition Lexus comes in a special shade of white paint called ‘Hakugin’. The pearlescent paint is coated in a satin finish and the brand claims that this resembles unglazed porcelain. To help accentuate the white paint, there are black elements such as the front grille and the rear diffuser region. While the special edition runs on 21-inch wheels like the regular LC500h, the difference is in the design and the finish, with the new edition getting a matte black finish and a new design. Also exclusive to the LC500h special edition is a fixed rear carbon-fibre wing at the rear and front bumper canards to improve aerodynamics.

On the inside, the LC500h Special Edition gets a new colour called Kachi-Blue, a shade which, the company claims, will promote calmness in the cabin. Alcantara is extensively used inside the coupe because of its anti-slip property and the ability to not reflect light. There is also a ‘Special Edition’ stuff plate present on the units of this car.

The special edition LC500h continues to be powered by the 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine that’s coupled to an electric motor and a self-charging lithium-ion battery. The combustion engine produces 300hp and 348Nm, while the electric motor produces 180hp and 330Nm for a combined output of 359hp. The LC500h utilises a hybrid system consisting of a  4-speed automatic with a CVT to allow the driver to choose from a total of 10 gear ratios when in manual mode.
