A few days ago we brought you details about the upcoming Jeep Compass Limited Plus variant, which is slated to launch around Dusshera this year.   A new set of images have surfaced on the internet that give us a better look at what to expect from this new variant. Select Jeep dealers have also started accepting bookings for the new top-spec trim for an amount of Rs 51,000. Deliveries have been promised to begin by the end of October.

First up, the Compass Limited Plus will come with dual-tone exterior – the images show a red paint shade with a gloss black contrast roof. The key differentiator as compared to other variants is the addition of a panoramic sunroof, which will be available exclusively on this trim. The model also gets a unique alloy wheel design, which is similar to the Compass Trailhawk’s that is sold overseas.

On the inside, the new top-spec Jeep Compass gets tan leather seats with a power adjust function for the driver and the front passenger. The big change on the inside is the inclusion of a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which until now was available only on the export-spec Compass.

The Compass Limited Plus will be sold with the same engine options as the standard model. These include a 173hp, 2.0-litre diesel and a 163hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol motor. Jeep has not added a diesel-automatic option on the top-spec Compass, however the petrol variant comes with an automatic transmission.

Jeep will price the Compass Limited Plus at around Rs 1.5 lakh more than the standard Compass variant. The company will also introduced a Black Pack edition in order to attract more buyers during this festive season.
