The Thruxton Final Edition is Triumph’s last hurrah for its cafe racer and it is based on the top-spec RS variant. This means that it features a liquid-cooled, 1200cc, parallel-twin motor making 105hp and 112Nm, which is the highest state of tune in the Bonneville lineup.

    1. Special ‘Competition Green’ paint scheme
    2. Golden accents on the bodywork are hand-painted

The Final Edition is finished in a deep metallic shade called ‘Competition Green’ and features a hand-painted ‘heritage’ Triumph logo. The golden accents on the tank as well as the rear seat cowl are hand-painted and even feature the artist’s initials. Along with each bike, Triumph will also give a special Final Edition engine badge with gold infills, which the company claims will make a ‘great display piece’.

But perhaps the most exclusive touch here is the certificate of authenticity featuring the bike’s unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), which every owner will receive with this bike. This certificate will be signed by Triumph CEO, Nick Bloor as well as members of the Thruxton’s design team.

Mechanically, this bike is identical to the Thruxton RS, which means you get top-notch hardware such as a Showa Big Piston Fork and twin Ohlins shocks, both fully adjustable. Brembo supplies the braking hardware, which comprises twin M50 calipers, clamping down upon 310mm rotors at the front. Tyres are grippy Metzeler Racetec RRs, the same as on the flagship Speed Triple 1200 RS, but are wrapped around beautiful (and period-correct) tubeless wire-spoke rims.
