Mahindra Mojo UT 300 gets up to Rs 60,000 off

Mahindra is offering massive discounts on the Mahindra Mojo UT 300. Dealers across the country are offering upwards of Rs 40,000 off the Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) price tag. Certain dealers we spoke to are also offering a discount of Rs 60,000 on the bike. Mahindra has also made this offer available to its employees for a much higher discount of Rs 75,000, what is, essentially, half the Mojo UT300’s price tag. While this is great news to someone looking to avail the offer, it is only valid until March 31, leaving less than four days for it to end.

The Mahindra Mojo is available in another variant called the XT 300. However, the offer is not valid on this motorcycle. The XT 300 and UT 300 are powered by the same 294.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The UT 300 uses a carburettor, unlike the XT300 that is fuel injected. The Mojo UT 300 makes 23.1hp and 25.2Nm of torque, down from the fuel-injected XT 300's 27hp and 30Nm. Late last year, certain Mahindra dealers were offering significant discounts on their motorcycles, as well as scooters. That said, those cuts were nowhere near as high as this offer.

Mahindra is likely looking to clear its existing stock of the Mojo over the next couple of days. The Mojo UT 300 and XT 300 are yet to receive ABS. With the April 1 deadline almost here, the sale of non-ABS bikes will be illegal.
