Jawa confirms deliveries to begin by end of March

Anupam Thareja, co-founder, Classic Legends, tweeted that the deliveries of the Jawa and the Forty Two will commence in the last week of March. The statement also revealed that the company is on track to inaugurate 100 dealerships across the country by the third week of March, as per its initial plan.

The two Jawa models are powered by a 293cc, single-cylinder engine that develops 27hp and 28Nm of peak torque. Jawa had also announced a third model for the country called the Perak that was initially scheduled to go on sale around five months after deliveries of the other two models began. The brand appears to be working in full swing to adhere to its initially announced deadlines; and this leads us to believe that the Perak will be launched around August 2019, as planned.

Late last year, Jawa revealed that the Jawa and the Forty Two are sold out till September 2019. With deliveries of the pre-booked motorcycles starting soon, Jawa will be looking to ensure a smooth delivery experience and provide good after-sales support.
