2019 Bajaj Discover 110 CBS priced at Rs 53,273

With the April 1, 2019, mandatory ABS/CBS deadline right around the corner, Bajaj has been updating its 125cc and above models with ABS over the last few months. Now, Bajaj seem to be updating its sub-125cc bikes with CBS, as per the regulation, and following the launch of the Platina 110 CBS, the Discover 110 is the next bike to receive the safety feature. The Discover 110 with CBS is priced at Rs 53,273, a minimal Rs 563 over the non-CBS variant that retails at Rs 52,710.

The Combi-Braking System (which Bajaj calls Anti Skid Braking) is a feature that distributes braking force between the front and rear brake. While the updated Discover 110 is yet to be listed on the company’s website, the dealers we spoke to have suggested that there are no other mechanical changes to the motorcycle. This doesn’t come as a surprise, as the Discover 110 was just reintroduced in early 2018. The 110 continues to be powered by an 115.45cc engine that makes 8.6hp at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm of torque at 5,000rpm.

Dealers are expecting to receive the bike and commence deliveries in the following couple weeks. In terms of competition, the bike goes up against the TVS Victor 110 Drum (Rs 53,347), Honda CD110 Dream CBS DLX (Rs 52,597) and Hero Passion Pro 110 Drum (Rs 55,200).

    All price ex-showroom, Pune.
