    Yokohama India introduces mud terrain tyres

    Yokohama India has introduced Mud –Terrain (M/T+) tyres in its Geolandar series. Designed for serious off-roading, the Geolandar M/T+ is equipped to deflect lateral impacts in extreme terrain.

    The Geolandar M/T+ is currently available in two sizes, 31X10.50R15 and 33X12.50R15. It has new dual protection bars to enhance cut and puncture resistance and central groove to enhance surface grip. Takeshi Fujino, MD – Yokohama India, said “Off-roading is increasingly becoming popular as a new weekend adventure sport. The Geolandar M/T+ has been built with many interesting features that makes it the best companion to do off-roading with. The Geolandar M/T+’s twin cut groove design also enhances traction for even better overall control while enhancing surface grip.”

    Yokohama recently inaugurated its first manufacturing unit in India, built with an investment of over Rs 300 crore. Globally, Yokohama is the original equipment supplier to car manufacturers like Audi, Honda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Suzuki and Toyota.
