Volvo S60, XC60 facelifts launched

    Volvo gives facelifted models new family look and more equipment. Prices start at Rs 29.90 lakh for the new S60 and Rs 40.5 lakh for the new XC60 SUV.

    Volvo has launched the updated S60 saloon and the XC60 SUV.

    The facelifted S60 saloon and XC60 SUV get the new family look, improved equipment levels and a minor mechanical update.

    The more rounded and dynamic family look of the S60 saloon and the XC60 SUV have been replaced by a visually widened front end, more prominent horizontal lines and slimmer lights. 

    Both the new Volvo S60 and the XC60 SUV get new interior trim.

    In terms of equipment, there are new sport seats, LED daytime running lamps and integrated dual tail pipes.   

    A new multimedia system has also been introduced which includes a seven-inch touchscreen that can even be used when wearing gloves. The TFT instrument panel from the latest V40 Cross Country has been rolled out across the revised Volvo range. Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters have also been added to automatic models. 

    The carmaker has also improved the city safety feature whereby crashes when the vehicle is doing speeds of up to 50kph can be avoided. 

    Volvo has launched both the updated S60 saloon and the XC60 SUV with three trim levels and two engine options and prices are around Rs 2 lakh higher. The prices for the facelifted models are as below:

    Volvo S60 D4 Kinetic:        Rs 29.90 lakh

    Volvo S60 D4 Summum:     Rs 32.50 lakh

    Volvo S60 D5 Summum:         Rs 35.50 lakh

    Volvo XC60 D4 Kinetic:        Rs 40.50 lakh

    Volvo XC60 D4 Summum:       Rs 43.50 lakh

    Volvo XC60 D5 Summum:       Rs 46.55 lakh
