Images of the undisguised Suzuki Ertiga facelift are out on the internet, prior to the car’s unveiling at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The Ertiga appears to have received a few styling tweaks and added equipment as part of the facelift.

At the front, the updated Ertiga gets a more prominent three-slat chrome grille, redesigned bumper and chrome housing for the fog lamps. The refreshed profile does not seem to be very different, save the new design for the alloy wheels. There’s also a thick chrome bar at the back, which seems to break mass well. Overall, the Ertiga gets a huge splash of chrome in an attempt to add a bit more bling to its otherwise plain design.

Although basic design cues in the cabin remain unchanged, the refreshed Ertiga will come with new upholstery, keyless entry and go, climate control, powered wing mirrors and the SmartPlay infotainment system.

The engines will be carried over from the current model, but they might be tweaked to deliver improved fuel efficiency. Both the petrol and diesel units are mated to a five-speed gearbox. Expected to roll into our showrooms sometime in the next few months, the Ertiga facelift is likely to demand a slight premium over the current model.
