Following a recent teaser of the C-HR concept, Toyota has officially rendered its new hybrid-powered crossover concept. The company says the concept "gives an early hint of a kind of vehicle we would like to bring to market" in the future.
The C-HR concept gets flared wheel arches, angular rear shoulders and 'floating' rear lamp clusters to offer a broad stance. Toyota says that "the C-HR concept combines a powerful new design language with an engaging driving experience and a hybrid powertrain". A production version of the C-HR could reach production in 2017.
Back in July a high-riding Toyota model was spied testing at the Nürburgring in Germany, and it seems logical to conclude that the C-HR concept will preview a production variant of this, more rugged, C-segment car.
