    Touchscreen-equipped Hyundai i20 Asta(O), i20 Active SX launched

Hyundai has officially announced the launch of the i20 and i20 Active models with a touchscreen system. We were the first to reveal way back in June that Hyundai is working on a new touch-screen equipped i20. The i20 gets a new top trim, the Asta(O), which comes equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen AVN system, while the i20 Active gets the system on the top-spec SX trim. The i20 Active petrol is now available in the SX trim as well.

We had, in a previous report, mentioned that Hyundai was already offering the i20 and i20 Active with the touchscreen infotainment system, with the ex-showroom prices for the models. The new touchscreen system gets USB, aux and Bluetooth connectivity along with a navigation system with voice commands. The screen also doubles up as the display for the rear camera.

The prices for the touchscreen-equipped models are as follows:

    Hyundai i20 petrol Asta(O): Rs 7.17 lakh
    Hyundai i20 diesel Asta(O): Rs 8.29 lakh
Hyundai i20 Active petrol SX: Rs 7.92 lakh
Hyundai i20 Active diesel SX: Rs 9.17 lakh

    (All prices ex-showroom, Delhi)

Hyundai is also preparing to introduce the 7.0-inch AVN system in the Verna sometime during the festive season.
