    Skoda's updated line-up for the Rapid includes only two trims, Ambition Plus and Elegance. Prices start at Rs 8.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

    Skoda updates Rapid line-up

    Skoda has updated its line-up for the Rapid saloon.

    The Rapid now comes in only two variants, Ambition Plus and Elegance.

    The Skoda Rapid Ambition Plus comes with dual front airbags and ABS, an audio system with USB, aux, MP3, Bluetooth and SD card compatibility, steering-mounted audio controls and 14-inch steel wheels. There’s also an optional leather package available which includes leather seats and leather-wrapped gearknob and steering wheel. This package also comes with an on-board computer.

    The top-end Skoda Rapid Elegance adds 15-inch alloy wheels, projector headlamps and automatic climate control.

    Skoda has also launched a new online platform, bookyourskodaonline.com, that enables you to book any Skoda online. The carmaker states that there is a minimum booking amount of Rs 5000, which is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled. Once the online booking is done, the balance amount needs to be paid to your chosen dealership.
