Porsche India, to support women’s empowerment, has partnered with Women Beyond Boundaries (WBB) for a 20-day expedition across the Himalayas. For the journey, Porsche will provide its 245hp Cayenne diesel that will be steered by Nidhi Tiwari, founder of WBB, along with her navigator, Neha V Sadananda. The 4,000km journey commences on June 18, 2016 from Gurgaon, during which, the Cayenne will be driven across some of the highest motorable roads and high-altitude passes, including Khardung La and Marsimik La.

‘Women Beyond Boundaries’ (WBB) is an organisation which embarks on extreme journeys to promote woman’s empowerment through mobility. As part of this expedition with Porsche India, the WBB team will interact with local communities to spread awareness on women’s health and cancer.

Nidhi Tiwari, founder of WBB, said, “We are glad to partner with Porsche India for such an initiative. With the spirit of women empowerment, and a sensitive cause of women’s health and cancer awareness in the remotest corners of the country, we believe in going beyond all perceived and conventional boundaries. We are equally excited to get behind the wheel of the Porsche Cayenne on some of the most unique roads in the world."
