Piaggio, the parent company of some of the most iconic Italian brands like Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi, has just inaugurated its first Motoplex showroom for the Asian market. This new showroom is located on the Pune Nagar Road in Yerwada.

The Motoplex is meant by Piaggio to be a complete retail experience for their customers. The showroom not only has the complete range of scooters and motorcycles from all the three brands, it also has a lounge for customers with facilities such as free Wi-Fi. Below the showroom, the Motoplex houses the workshop where regular maintenance and repairs for all products are carried out.

Under the Vespa brand, Piaggio sells the newly launched Vespa SXL and VXL 150s, alongside the ones with the 125cc engine options. Under the Aprilia brand, which has a rich motorsport history, the outlet showcases the two popular RSV4 offerings, the Tuono V4 twins, the three Caponord 1200s, Dorsoduro 1200, Mana 850 and even the SRV 850 ABS scooter. Currently, Moto Guzzi has five models – the Eldorado, Audace, California Custom and Touring SE, and the Griso 1200 8V SE – in its India line-up that are exclusive lifestyle offerings.

As of now, Piaggio has three existing Motoplex showrooms, two of which are in its home country of Italy, and one in the United States of America, besides the one that's just been inaugurated. However, within a year's time, the manufacturer plans on increasing that number to 90 stores across the globe.
