Nismo-powered Nissan Patrol unveiled in Dubai

Nissan launched  its Nismo performance division in UAE with the introduction of the Nismo-powered Patrol SUV. The SUV receives a 28bhp bump in power, now producing 428bhp from a 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine mated to an automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. Torque figures are expected upwards of 57kgm that the stock engine produces. Nissan also claims this torque to be available across over 70 percent of the engine’s rev range.

The Patrol gets a sporty body kit with Nismo-red accents and beefy 22-inch Rays forged alloy wheels. On the inside, the SUV gets dual tone black and white leather upholstery, red stitching on the door panels and a NISMO-based instrument cluster. The SUV also gets a Nismo-tuned steering and suspension setup, replete with Bilstein shock absorbers.

Bringing the high performance brand to the Middle East and launching the Patrol NISMO as a world premiere model is proof of our commitment to making thrilling driving experiences accessible to all our customers.”

Besides the Nismo Patrol, Nismo versions of the 370Z and the GT-R will be available across UAE. The Nissan Patrol was showcased earlier this year at the Buddh International Circuit, which hints at a possible launch of the SUV in India.
