Bajaj has been updating the Discover series in regular succession, and is now planning to take the Discover series to new level, as it is working on a new top-of-the-line variant. The new Discover will carry most design cues from its younger siblings, but also showcase a few extra goodies that will give it a distinctive edge over its stablemates. This new variant is expected to feature a front fairing, digital instruments console, a flat saddle as seen on other Discover variants, front petal disc brake, rear monoshock and ten-spoke alloy wheels; the new Discover might also receive a conventional handlebar instead of clip-on handlebars.
Powering the new Discover will be a newly developed, electric and kick-started engine in the 125cc-150cc displacement area, featuring Bajaj’s proven DTS-i technology.
The bike is already being tested and is in the final stages, implying that it is likely to be launched in the coming few months.
