The all-new fourth generation Honda City is receiving a lot of buyer interest after prices were announced. Honda has managed to price the new Honda City quite aggressively and, as a result, orders are flowing in. Some dealers claim they already have a back-log of over 100 cars to deliver.

Deliveries of diesel variants of the Honda City are scheduled to begin from next week, while the petrol variants are expected to commence by the end of March or by early April.

Currently, the SV, V and VX variants are receiving the majority of bookings. These variants come equipped with a long list of features and pricing is within reach of a large share of City buyers too. It's the SV variant that has the shortest waiting period, while the top V and VX variants have a longer waiting period, along with the base E and S variants. Honda had forecasted that the SV variant will receive maximum bookings and has sent more cars in this trim in the first batch of deliveries.
