Mahindra XUV500 facelift likely to be launched on May 25

Mahindra is expected to launch the XUV500 facelift on May 25. Changes are likely to be on the cosmetic front only.

As seen in leaked images before, up front, the Scorpio-like grille gets a chrome lining and there are the new headlamps with daytime-running lights. The bumper has been tweaked, as are the fog lamp housings. Other changes on the outside include new alloys and a larger rear registration plate enclosure.
On the inside, the XUV500 facelift is likely to get a new beige theme for the cabin.

The mechanicals are expected to be carried on unchanged, and the XUV500 will likely retain Mahindra’s 138bhp 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel motor mated to a six-speed manual gearbox; four-wheel drive will be available as an option.
