    Mahindra Quanto facelift coming soon

Mahindra is all-set to launch a heavily updated version of its first compact SUV, the Quanto. The Quanto, since its launch, hasn’t really set the sales charts on fire; this lacklusture performance has been attributed to its quirky styling and not-so-good road manners. Now, after the KUV100 launch, Mahindra is expected to bring the updated Quanto to our market soon.

As part of the styling update, the Quanto is expected to get restyled headlamps, grille and bumpers, and new-design alloy wheels for the higher variants. Inside, the updated Quanto will now get a new beige-themed dashboard and steering wheel, and a touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth and voice command recognition. The seats are also expected to be all-new, with better cushioning and lumbar support.

Major mechanical updates expected on the Quanto include suspension tweaks; addition of extra bushes and a rear stability bar from the Xylo. What’s more, the Quanto is also likely to get the same engine as the TUV300, the new mHawk80 diesel unit and like the TUV300, it will also come with an AMT gearbox.
