Lincoln, the luxury brand under Ford, has revealed its Navigator SUV concept at the New York motor show.

The company claims that this is the "most spacious, luxurious Lincoln SUV yet". It is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine that develops around 400bhp.

Highlights of the six-seat concept include a futuristic interior, which is accessed through gull-wing doors and via an extending staircase-style side plate. The SUV concept also features on-board Wi-Fi connectivity, individual infotainment screens for rear passengers, as well as a 'wardrobe management system' for carrying clothes and luggage.

Safety tech includes a 360-degree camera, autonomous parking, autonomous emergency braking, and pedestrian detection.

The Navigator SUV is currently sold in the US, and this latest concept is a glimpse into the next-generation model, due in 2018.
