Lexus has until now only shown a veiled picture of its latest LF-SA city car concept. These new images show that the three-door hatchback concept will come with aggressive styling, distinct alloy wheels and an integrated rear spoiler. The spindle design grille is expected to become standard across future Lexus models.
The new pictures also show rather spartan interiors with a digital dashboard and infotainment controls incorporated into the centre console.
The LF-SA concept is based on the Toyota Yaris platform and is likely to be offered as an entry-level hatchback from the company and is likely to go on sale internationally in 2018. The car is also expected to receive multiple engine options including downsized turbo-petrols and at least one hybrid model is likely.
The LF-SA is expected to compete against the likes of the Audi A1.
The car will be showcased at the Geneva motor show along with the Lexus GS F performance car and LF-C2 roadster concept.
