    Indian Motorcycles’ Scout is here

    Indian Scout.

American heritage brand Indian Motorcycle has just unveiled the Indian Scout for India at Rs 11,99,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle was recently unveiled at the 2014 Sturgis rally in South Dakota, and is since seeing success in the USA.

This latest bike sports a liquid-cooled engine, a first for the brand; they have only fit air-cooled engines on its model range - the Chieftain, Chief Classic and Chief Vintage – so far.

The Indian Scout is powered by a four-stroke, 1131cc, V-twin, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine that is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Though the Scout only comes with a single seat as standard, there’s an option to add a pillion seat and a rider backrest. Other options include adding an audio system and a wind protective visor.

Dealerships have now started taking booking for the new bike.
