    Honda Mobilio petrol range starts from Rs 6.49 lakh

    Honda has just launched its Mobilio MPV, which is available in both petrol and diesel variants. The Mobilio petrol gets a 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine, while the diesel gets a 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine. The Honda Mobilio petrol range starts at Rs 6.49 lakh, while the diesel range starts at Rs 7.89 lakh. Honda has armed its first MPV for India with an attractive price tag, but how does its price stack up against its competitors in the MPV segment? Here are the details.

    Starting price

    The Honda Mobilio petrol range starts at Rs 6.49 lakh for the base E trim (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV petrol range starts at Rs 5.74 lakh for the LS trim, which is Rs 75,000 less than the Mobilio. In comparison, the Maruti Ertiga LXi petrol trim has a price tag of Rs 5.80 lakh, thereby making the base Mobilio trim more expensive by about Rs 69,000 than the Ertiga base trim.

    In the diesel variants, the Mobilio base E trim starts at Rs 7.89 lakh. Within the diesel base trims, only the Nissan Evalia base XE trim is more expensive than the Mobilio. Priced at Rs 8.49 lakh, the XE trim costs Rs 60,000 more than the Mobilio E diesel. The Chevrolet Enjoy LS diesel is priced at Rs 6.98 lakh and the Ertiga LDi is priced Rs 7.22 lakh, both are cheaper by Rs 91,000 and Rs 67,000 respectively.
