    Harley trip across Asia

A group of five Harley-Davidson motorcycle owners have planned a ride across Southeast Asia, starting from Mumbai, India on March 19. The forty-day road trip will take the riders through Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and finally, on to Singapore. The group will be astride the Fat Boy, Super Glide Custom, Iron 883, Super Glide Custom and the Street Glide Special.

For safety, all riders will wear protective helmets, gloves, armoured riding jackets and pants and riding boots.

The motorcycles are scheduled for the first maintenance service in Thailand after about 15 days and 6,000km of the ride. The riders will also get a week's break here. On the way back, the group will traverse Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia.

A total of about 15,500km will be clocked over the entire ride, with an estimated 375km covered each day, on an average.
