    Fiat brings its tally of independent dealerships in Mumbai to four with the addition of three new showrooms in Andheri, Prabhadevi and Navi Mumbai.

    Fiat inaugurates three new showrooms in Mumbai

    Fiat India has inaugurated three new independent dealerships in Mumbai. The showrooms are located in Andheri east (Torrent Motors), Prabhadevi (Esskay Motors) and Navi Mumbai (Balaji Cars), bringing the total number of dealerships in Mumbai to four including the showroom opened in Thane earlier this year.

    The Torrid Motors showroom spans 3,000 sq ft of display area and a 15,000 sq ft workshop, the Esskay Motors showroom spans 8,500 sq ft and 18,000 sq ft of workshop area, while the Balaji Cars dealership comprises 3,500 sq ft of showroom area and 20,000 sq ft of workshop area.

    The inauguration of these showrooms brings Fiat’s nationwide tally of independent showrooms up to 90. Broken down, these are 7 dealerships in the east, 22 in the west, 37 in the north and 24 in the south.

    Fiat plans to have 10 more exclusive dealerships by the end of 2013.

    Speaking on this occasion, Nagesh Basavanhalli, president and managing director, Fiat-Chrysler India, said, “Fiat India views Mumbai as a very strategic market and the inauguration of two exclusive dealerships in Mumbai and one in Navi Mumbai are in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. We are confident that our association with Torrid Motors, Esskay Motors and Balaji Cars will play a crucial role in identifying the customer base and enhancing customer experience in their respective areas of Mumbai.”
