ExxonMobil launches Mobil 1 5W-30 engine oil in India

International oil major ExxonMobil has launched its Mobil 1 5W-30 synthetic engine oil in the Indian retail market.

The company says the advanced full synthetic engine oil is designed to keep vehicle engines running like new by providing exceptional wear protection, cleaning power and overall performance. Mobil 1 5W-30 also meets or exceeds the requirements of the industry’s toughest standards, the company said.

Mobil 1 5W-30's advanced full synthetic formula helps prevent deposits and sludge build-up to enable long engine life. It is also said to offer outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, ensuring top-notch performance within the maximum oil change interval recommended in a vehicle’s owner’s manual. Other product highlights include enhanced frictional properties that aid fuel economy, and excellent low-temperature capabilities that enable quick cold weather starts.

“Every engine oil we manufacture is backed up by a long tradition of technological superiority, thus protecting your car against wear, under any driving condition,” said Anirvan Roy, marketing manager, South Asia Pacific, ExxonMobil Lubricants Private Limited commenting on the new product.
The Mobil 1 5W-30 will join ExxonMobil Lubricants’ existing range of oils in India such as Mobil 1 0W-40, Mobil Super 4T 20W-40, Mobil 1 5W-50 and Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W-30.
