Chevrolet has launched the Cruze facelift with prices starting at Rs 14.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base LT variant. The facelifted model gets minor updates to styling and also added equipment.

The facelifted Cruze gets a revised grille with horizontal chrome slats, a redesigned front bumper with C-shaped chrome detailing around the fog-lamps and LED daytime-running lamps. At the rear, there is now a new boot lip spoiler.

On the inside, the only new addition is Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth streaming, Stitcher internet radio app and SIRI Eyes Free compatibility; the system comes with voice command recognition as well. The facelifted Chevy now also gets a rear-view camera.

The car is still powered by the same 2.0-litre 164bhp diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard with the LTZ trim also getting the option of a six-speed automatic unit.

The facelifted Cruze rivals the likes of the Volkswagen Jetta and Toyota Corolla Altis.

Chevrolet Cruze LT – Rs 14.68 lakh
Chevrolet Cruze LTZ – Rs 16.75 lakh
Chevroelt Cruze LTZ automatic – Rs 17.81 lakh
