    The BMW 3-series, 3-series GT, 5-series, X3 and X5 now cost less than before.

    BMW cuts prices of locally-assembled models

    As a result of its more aggressive local assembly strategy in India, BMW has announced a drop in prices for almost all of its locally assembled models. The facility in Chennai currently caters to eight models, of which the 3-series, 3-series GT, 5-series, X3 and X5 have had their sticker price reduced. However, prices of the remaining three CKD models - the 1-series, X1 and 7-series - as well as models being imported into the country as CBUs - the 6-series, Z4, i8 and the M cars - remain unchanged.

    The updated prices of the locally assembled model range are as follows:
