I am on the lookout for a new two-wheeler and my budget is between Rs 40,000-80,000. Could you suggest the best motorcycle or scooter that offers good riding comfort, value for money, fuel-efficiency and durability?

AAA The most comfortable bike you can buy in India within that budget is Hero’s Impulse, a bike that also delivers decent mileage in the region of 40kpl. If you’re looking for a more conventional, yet fuel-efficient, motorcycle, consider the Honda CB Twister 110, that isn’t as comfortable as an Impulse, but actually can deliver a true 60kpl in regular Indian city riding conditions. And, if you require the power of a 150cc bike but don’t like the Impulse, go for the Yamaha SZ-R, which is a good value-for-money and well rounded motorcycle.

Yes, 40hp at this price is unheard of!
