Range Rover 3.0 V6 diesel launched

    In addition to the 4.4-litre twin-turbo diesel and the 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine, the new Range Rover now comes with the option of a 3.0 V6 diesel.

    Range Rover 3.0 V6 diesel launched

    Land Rover has added a new 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine option to its Range Rover line-up in India. 

    The new 2993cc twin-turbo V6 diesel unit makes 255bhp and 61.2kgm of torque. It is mated to the same ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic gearbox that does duty in the other Range Rover variants. 

    According to the manufacturer, the 3.0-litre Range Rover will do the 0-100kph sprint in 7.9 seconds and will go all the way up to a top speed of 210kph. Two trim levels for the Range Rover 3.0 are available. The lower HSE trim is priced at Rs 1.44 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai, pre-Octroi), while the Vogue is priced at Rs 1.64 crore.
