High-performance Q5 variant gets a 313bhp twin-turbo 3.0litre diesel. SQ5 can touch 100kph in 5.1 sec.

Audi has added a new top-end variant to its Q5 lineup, the SQ5 TDI. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel motor that churns out 313bhp and 66.2kgm of torque, the SQ5 comes with a sound actuator in the exhaust system which amplifies the sporty exhaust note. The new variant with a eight-speed tiptronic gearbox and Quattro permanent all-wheel drive with torque vectoring comes with a sport-tuned suspension that lowers the  vehicle body by 30 millimeters.
The SQ5 has  20-inch wheels that feature a five parallel-spoke design. Audi also offers 21-inch alloy wheels as optional equipment. The black-painted brake calipers on the front axle sport special S badges.

The SQ5 gets a platinum gray single-frame grille with galvanized double bars in an aluminum-look finish which is also colour-coded with the roof spoiler, the modified bumpers and wing mirrors. It comes in two paint shades, Estoril Blue or Panther Black. Interiors comes in pearl-black trim. Brushed aluminum inlays are standard. Options include Carbon Atlas, Piano finish and the new Aluminum/Beaufort wood black trim panels.

The SQ5’s instrument dials get a grey background and 3D-design S badge with white needles. It also gets aluminum pedals and paddle shifters. Additional visual highlights in the interiors are the S gear lever knob, the S badges on the door sill trims, the start button, customised steering wheel, the S welcome screen and the lighting package.
