    Hyundai launches new assurance scheme

Hyundai Motor India has launched a new scheme for the Santro and i10 called ‘5 Star Assurance Programme’ that aims at boosting customer satisfaction for the two cars and increase sales. The scheme costs Rs 14,000.

The five-fold programme includes maintenance for three years or 40,000km, whichever is earlier, motor insurance, third year extended warranty, 24X7 roadside assistance for two years and an exchange offer of Rs 15,000.

Maintenance includes service and repair including parts and materials as per the service schedule. Hyundai hopes to increase sales with this scheme since sales of the Santro and i10 have dropped considerably in the past year. The demand for petrol cars have fallen and without a diesel in the Santro and i10 range, the two cars are facing a tough time.
