VW to launch used-car brand

New pre-owned car brand to be called 'Das Welt Auto' and will cater to all manufacturers.

Volkswagen India will soon foray into the second-hand car business. The German manufacturer’s used-car brand will be called Das Welt Auto. This pre-owned service will cater to all used VW models as well as pre-owned cars from other manufacturers. All cars sold from Das Welt Auto will carry a warranty as well as roadside assistance services. Also, Volkswagen’s financial arm will be available for pre-owned cars purchased from the Das Welt Auto outlets.

VW’s new used-car vertical will be operational in the first half of this year.  VW plans to open two or three Das Welt Auto outlets initially.
