MapmyIndia has released a new online map update which includes house numbers for 18 cities. This upgrade will provide its users more detailed map information making it easy to get precise directions to house addresses or buildings.

By zooming in to the last level on the map the user can see exact locations on the map for residential house numbers, commercial building addresses and names, apartment complexes, businesses and points of interest in 18 major cities. However house numbers are only viewable on the map in the current release and search for house numbers is expected to be available in the future. Building footprints (Built-up area) can also be seen on the map in cities like Mumbai and Delhi.

Users can now add and share their favourite places just by right-clicking at the location and choosing ‘Add a place’. To check out how the upgraded map works, click here.
