Exclusive! M-Class to go Grand

Mercedes-Benz to launch M-class Grand Edition.

Exclusive!

The Mercedes-Benz M-class SUV will soon get a new exterior and interior styling package called the ‘Grand Edition’.

These include 19-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, thermal insulation glass, dark-tinted headlamps, AMG radiator grille and underguards, and aluminium roof rails for the exterior and ambient lighting, new wood trim parts and Artico man-made leather upholstery for the inside.

Sources tell us that M-class prices will duck below the Rs 50-lakh mark. Mercedes does not have a compact SUV to pit against the soon-to-be-launched BMW X1 and Audi Q3 since the GLK-class is only LHD. The new price structure could draw these baby SUV buyers towards the larger M-class due to more features and space on offer.

The Grand edition will be the pricier variant by around Rs 5lakh.
