Mahindra unveil Bolero Stinger

Mahindra's Bolero gets a shot in the arm with the induction of a CRD engine and is launched with a zestier tag - the Stinger

Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled their new Bolero Stinger, the first of which they handed to the Indian cricket team's opening batsman, Gautam Gambhir (pictured, right). Powered by a 96 bhp CRD engine, the Stinger is essentially a customised version of the Bolero SUV. The car is available with customised paint-jobs, alloy wheels, styled scoops & bezels and custom built guard and rear roll cage.

A host of additional features like a MP3 player, leather seats, and reverse camera are available to increase the appeal of this lifestyle off-roader.

Mahindra's ageing warhorse continues to show signs of life in the Indian market despite the presence of its more upmarket cousin, the Scorpio. The car still features in the top 10 selling cars in India.
